
Head of state to meet Moldovan Diaspora in Rome
President Maia Sandu will meet Moldovan citizens residing in Rome April 25, 2025, starting from 17:00.
According to the Presidency, participation will only be possible by registration, through the completion of an online form where participants must input their full names as per their identification documents.
The exact location of the meeting will be communicated later, via email, to the registered individuals.
According to official statistics data from 2024, about 100,000 Moldovans officially live in Italy, accounting for about 3 per cent of the community population. As much as 50.8 per cent of them are women, 32.8 per cent are men, and 15.9 per cent are minors.
