
Moldovan electoral body accredits national observers for monitoring new local elections
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has accredited 21 individuals as national observers for monitoring the new local elections due on May 18, 2025.
According to the CEC, the Promo-LEX Association submitted the application for the accreditation of observers.
The accredited individuals will conduct their activities in accordance with Moldova’s legislation.
On May 18, 2025, new local elections will be held for the position of mayor in the commune of Calugar, Falesti district, Chiperceni commune, Orhei district, Talmaza village, Stefan Voda district, Bolduresti commune, Nisporeni district, and Tabani village, Briceni district, as well as elections for a new composition of the village council in Temeleuti, Floresti district.
