Romanian president calls on Moldovan citizens to go to vote, describes elections as most important in Moldova after communism
President of Romania Nicusor Dan today conveyed a message to the citizens of Moldova, just a few hours before the closing of the polling stations at the parliamentary elections. The Romanian head of state urged Moldovans to go out and vote, emphasizing the importance of the election.
“Dear Bessarabians, there are only a few hours left. Please, go to vote! These are decisive elections, the most important in Moldova since communism. These elections will determine your future, your family's future, and the one of Moldova,” said Nicusor Dan.
President Maia Sandu also called on Moldovans living abroad to go to vote and show that the country belongs to them, not the Shor group.
