Leova customs post's activity to be temporarily suspended due to bridge repair
Leova–Bumbata border customs post will be temporarily closed today, June 16, 2025, between 11:00 and 14:00, due to technical verification and reinforcement works on the bridge.
According to the Customs Service, participants in cross-border traffic are urged to avoid the area during this time frame and to use alternative border crossing points such as: Cahul–Oancea, Leușeni–Albița, Sculeni–Sculeni, Giurgiulești–Galați.
Authorities recommend that citizens plan their border crossing in advance to avoid delays.
