
Artist who fell during show at Arena Chisinau stays hospitalized at emergency care
The young artist, who on March 23 fells from a height during the show, Aladdin, 1001 Nights on Ice, held at the Arena Chisinau Complex, stays hospitalized at the Emergency Medicine Institute for stabilization and monitoring.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, the spokesperson of the Institute, Dorina Arseni, specified that the young woman had been admitted urgently to the Intensive Care Unit of the Institute of Emergency Medicine after being evaluated by a specialized medical team.
"The young woman underwent clinical and imaging investigations immediately after being carried to the Emergency Reception Unit. Presently, she remains under medical supervision for stabilization and monitoring," Arseni said.
The accident occurred about an hour into the show. The 24-year-old artist was performing an acrobatic act at a height. Suddenly, she fell to the ground.
The police were notified at about 18:00 and opened an investigation, in order to examine the circumstances of the accident. Organizers rule out the possibility of a technical problem.
