Job fair to be organized in Moldovan capital

A job fair will be organized in the capital on May 28. The event will bring together dozens of employers from various branches of the economy – services, trade, transport and storage, construction, manufacturing, health and social assistance, public administration and social insurance.

The job fair will take place at the Palace of the Republic. The event is organized in partnership with the National Employment Agency (ANOFM). ANOFM head Raisa Dogaru mentioned that people looking for a job are invited to the fair, including refugees from Ukraine.

“The job fair has already become a traditional event. It represents a platform where employers and employees have the opportunity to communicate. Positions will be offered for people with and without studies, with or without work experience. Thus, participants will be able to talk directly with employers, present their CVs, negotiate hiring conditions and schedule interviews. We are sure that interaction and communication matter a lot; only in this way can we contribute to economic growth and the well-being of citizens,” said Dogaru.

Currently, over 12,000 job vacancies are being offered to citizens across the country by ANOFM. Since the beginning of this year, more than 6,000 people have been employed through the agency’s territorial subdivisions. Of the total number of employed citizens, 1,644 are unemployed persons, which represents 27%. For additional information on employment, vacancies and employment conditions, people can call the toll-free number 0 8000 1000 (Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00) or visit the portal www.angajat.md.

The authorities aim to support the employment of 25,000 job seekers in 2026. In 2025, more than 20,000 citizens were placed in employment through ANOFM, an increase of 20% compared to 2024.
