The official noted that he had followed safety instructions and left the area after the Iranian attack had ended. Roitman also dismissed rumors alleging the headquarters of the Embassy of Moldova in Tel Aviv was hit by a ballistic missile.

Today morning, Ambassador Alexandr Roitman sent a message to Moldovan citizens in Israel. The official said that the security situation in the region stayed complicated and urged Moldovan citizens from this country to comply with security instructions issued by the Israeli authorities, avoid non-essential travel, and stay near anti-missile shelters.

For further questions related to the emergency situation, citizens can call the dedicated phone line of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Israel: +972 52-7789772.

Moldova’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a maximum-level travel alert on Friday, June 13—Avoid all travel—for the State of Israel, in the context of the security situation in the Middle East. A Crisis Cell has also been activated.

On 13 June, Israel, claiming to have information proving that Iran is approaching the "point of no return" towards an atomic bomb, launched an unprecedented large-scale attack on Iranian territory, hitting over 200 military and nuclear sites and killing high-ranking officers, writes Agerpres. Iran, which denies seeking to develop nuclear weapons, launched dozens of missiles at Israel in response, stating that they targeted military installations. Most were intercepted by the Israeli military, but significant damage was recorded in the Tel Aviv area. On 14 June, Israel bombed Iran's air defense systems and missile launchers again.
