PHOTO // Campaign - Forest deserves to be known – clean and well-maintained
Employees of Moldsilva Agency carried out cleanup activities in more than 100 locations within the forest fund managed by the agency’s forestry enterprises. These actions are part of the national campaign -Forest deserves to be known – clean and well-maintained.
Thus, staff from the 23 territorial forestry entities and their subdivisions took part in activities for the maintenance and cleaning of the forest fund. Most of the actions focused on recreation and leisure areas, land adjacent to national and local routes, forest sectors frequently visited by the population, and natural reserves.
Employees of the central office of Moldsilva Agency participated in cleanup actions carried out in Strășeni, in an area with centuries-old trees, suggestively named “Stephen the Great’s Oak” near Scoreni.
The cleanup campaign is traditionally held every spring and involves forestry employees, who perform works to arrange and manage forestry infrastructure facilities. This year, the cleanup works are being carried out between April 7 and 30.
