
Stefan-Voda business incubator celebrated 10 years of activity
Chisinau, April 13 / MOLDPRES /- Ștefan-Vodă Business Incubator marked ten years of activity. On this occasion, the institution hosted an event yesterday with the participation of central, regional and local authorities, partners and financiers, Incubator residents, who discussed the conditions in which it conducts its business and the new programs offered by the Government for entrepreneurs.
"The incubator in Ștefan-Vodă managed to double the turnover of its residents in 2021, reaching the value of 19 million lei. It is good for the regions to provide a better living environment, and one of the main pillars of development is the economic agent, which we need to support and help grow. Therefore, we must direct our efforts to the regions, to collaborate with the local authorities and to support the local entrepreneurs ", Minister of Economy Sergiu Gaibu said.
Dumitru Pîntea, acting head of the Organization for the Development of the Small and Medium Enterprises Sector (ODIMM) highlighted the role of business incubators as promoters of economic development in the regions and presented the entrepreneurial support programs in the management of the institution. business in the south of the country to take advantage of them.
"In 2022, in order to support the business environment, the Government came up with a series of support measures for incubators and their residents, including gas compensation. We also come up with new tools for incubators and especially for entrepreneurs. During this period, we are launching a call for grants for all existing programs, including PARE 1 + 1, Women in Business, Start for Young People and the Internationalization Program ", said Pîntea.
"The opportunities offered by ODIMM and the Business Incubator are vast. We try to motivate entrepreneurs to participate in the programs offered. We want as many new companies created and developed in the field of technology, digitalization or internationalization as possible ", said director of the Business Incubator from Ștefan-Vodă Adelina Barbăneagră.
In 2021, the Incubator from Ștefan-Vodă registered the best results in activity, being designated “The Best Business Incubator of the Year”. Currently, 25 entrepreneurs work in the institution. The turnover of the companies amounts to over 19 million lei. The institution was established in 2012 by the Organization for the Development of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Sector, with the financial support of the European Union.
