Moldovan foreign minister meets new US ambassador to Moldova
Chisinau, 17 Feb. / MOLDPRES /- Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration spoke at the Foreign Ministry with Ambassador of the United States of America to Chisinau Kent D. Logsdon, the MAEIE press service has reported.
The officials discussed the possibilities of strengthening the bilateral Strategic Dialogue, its development and deepening in the thematic working groups, especially after the meeting in December last year of Nicu Popescu with head of US diplomacy Anthony Blinken.
"I wish the new head of mission a lot of success in fulfilling his mandate, the start of which coincides with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Moldovan-American diplomatic relations, on which occasion I assured him of the full support of MAEIE and me personally ", Popescu said.
