Moldovan PM meets group of businesspeople from Germany
Prime Minister Dorin Recean has had discussions at the government with a group of German businesspeople, representatives of innovative companies in the field of civil security, interested in exploring investment opportunities on the Moldovan market.
The companies operate in the sectors of cybersecurity, drone production, emergency management and protection infrastructure.
Prime Minister Dorin Recean appreciated the intention of German firms to explore business opportunities and highlighted that the demand for civil security products was increasing in our country. "In the conditions of climate change, natural disasters and regional security situations, including cyberattacks, it is increasingly necessary to develop response capabilities," said Dorin Recean.
The PM highlighted the advantages of opening businesses in Moldova, the excellent working conditions in Moldova IT Park, and the talent and innovation of Moldovan professionals. "We need long-term investments, projects and collaborations, in order to transfer innovations and increase productivity," specified the prime minister.
For their part, representatives of the German companies emphasized that the civil security sector was one of fields of interest for them, alongside information technologies, the internal market, energy, and others. During the current visit, the businesspeople are set to become more familiar with the advantages of placing investments in Moldova and establishing partnerships, including by participating in the Moldova Digital Summit 2025.
The visit of German businesspeople takes place within an economic mission organized by the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Romania).
