
New upgrades at Hîncești hospital
Prime Minister Dorin Recean attended the inauguration of a new pathology block and the reopening, after major renovations, of the sterilization department and hospital pharmacy.
The pathological and forensic expertise block covers an area of 760 square meters. About 22 million lei were spent on this project, funded by the Ministry of Health, Hîncești District Council, the National Health Insurance House and the hospital. Meanwhile, 3 million lei were invested in renovating the sterilization department, which covers 80 square meters.
In the last two years alone, over 52 million lei from government funds have been invested in Hîncești hospital. A new intensive care unit and a primary stroke care center, serving patients from Hîncești, Leova, Cimișlia and Basarabeasca have been inaugurated.
"The government's investments in the health system will continue so that every citizen, from every corner of the country, has access to modern and efficient medical services. Moldova can!" Prime Minister Dorin Recean said.
