Moldovan head of state continues dialogue on children’s safety online in Balti
President Maia Sandu today paid a visit to Balti, where she continued the national dialogue on children’s safety in the online environment, together with students and teachers. During the discussions, young people spoke openly about the risks in the digital space. The debate highlighted the need for clear rules and programmes, meant to support them in using the internet. At the same time, the importance of supporting teachers was underlined, so they can make the most of new technologies in the educational process.
The head of state also visited the Clinical Hospital from Balti, where she discussed with the medical team the institution’s development directions for the coming years, with a view to strengthening the hospital’s role as a regional center capable of providing modern and accessible medical services for residents of the country’s northern region.
