Moldovan deputy PM has meeting with Parliamentary State Secretary of Latvia's Foreign Affairs Ministry

Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri has had a meeting with the Parliamentary State Secretary of Latvia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry Artjoms Uršuļskis, on a working visit to Chisinau.

The discussions focused on recent developments in the Transnistrian settlement process, Chisinau’s priorities in promoting reintegration policies, as well as the impact of the regional security context on Moldova.

Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Chiveri expressed appreciation for Latvia’s constant support for Moldova. He emphasized the importance of strengthening institutional and societal resilience, protecting the inalienable human rights and peacefully resolving the Transnistrian issue, in line with the principles of respect for the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
