Observers accredited by Moldovan Central Electoral Commission can report online infringements detected on election day
The observers accredited for the upcoming parliamentary elections, due on September 28, will be able to report, online, any infringements noticed at the polling station.
According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), reports can be submitted via the platform www.observator.cec.md. They will be received and reviewed by the electoral bodies, with solutions offered as soon as possible, in order to ensure a prompt and effective response.
The members of the electoral constituency councils and the electoral bureaus of the polling stations have been trained on the use of the Observers module within the SIAS Elections system, meant for registering and resolving reports.
The Observers module helps optimize the process of registration of observers accredited both by CEC and by lower-level bodies, provides a single record of credentials, through the centralization of the information necessary for the process of accreditation and registration of observers and interpreters.
