The visit program also includes discussions with the President of the Greece-Moldova Friendship Group, Vasileios Giogiakas, and group members.

He is also set to meet with representatives of the diaspora. Members of the Moldovan community living, studying, or working in Greece will have a discussion with Igor Grosu this evening.

He will be accompanied on his visit to Athens by Deputy Larisa Novac, the President of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Hellenic Republic.

The Hellenic Republic Parliament is the leader of the Twinning Project benefiting Moldova's Parliament in 2025-2027. The Twinning Project Strengthening the Capacity of Moldova's Parliament and its Role in the EU Accession Process, with a budget of 1.4 million euros, is funded by the European Union and implemented by a consortium of partners, led by the Greek Parliament, in partnership with the Parliaments of Romania, Italy, Hungary, and Austria. The main objective of the Twinning Project is to support the Republic of Moldova's EU accession process. Specifically, the project aims to ensure an efficient, transparent, and participatory legislative process in the context of harmonizing Moldova's legislation with EU acquis, as well as strengthening the control exercised by the Parliament.
