We will have an extremely important exam to take on Sunday, September 28, and voter turnout represents the crucial element. Culture Minister Sergiu Prodan has conveyed a message to this effect. He emphasized the role and responsibility of cultural figures and the intelligentsia of Moldova in mobilizing citizens for the parliamentary elections.
“I want to address cultural figures, and in doing so, I am addressing all citizens of Moldova: on Sunday, we will have an extremely important exam to take. On Sunday, we must once again reaffirm our choice towards the civilized world, towards the EU, towards our partners who have supported and aided us throughout the years in the problems and confrontations we've faced. It is extremely important not to miss this exam, and voting is the most important element,” said the culture minister.
The official emphasized the crucial role played by cultural figures in society.
“We need the free, democratic expression of all citizens of Moldova. The intelligentsia of the localities, people of culture and workers of the culture sector are morally responsible for this exercise. The voter turnout, choosing the European path for Moldova is the option with which, I am sure, we will pass this exam with flying colors. Thank you and see you at the polls,” added Sergiu Prodan.
