Government’s message on 1 May: Citizens’ work and dedication - pillars of building European and prosperous Moldova
The Government of the Republic of Moldova, together with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection today conveyed a congratulatory message on International Workers’ Day. The authorities are using this opportunity to honor the effort and dedication of every citizen, emphasizing the essential role of individual work in the development of society as a whole.
In the context of this holiday, the government has reaffirmed the firm commitment to supporting a modern working environment that offers all professionals respect, fairness, and genuine opportunities for growth. The Minister of Labour and Social Protection highlighted the importance of creating conditions in which performance is accompanied by safety and social protection.
The May 1 holiday is seen this year as a symbol of solidarity and shared desire to build a prosperous country aligned with European values and standards. The Government underlines that the main objective remains the construction of a society in which work is both properly valued and protected through solid legislative mechanisms.
