
Moldovan diplomacy head delivers public lecture at Kathmandu University
Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popsoi, on a visit to Nepal, has met students of the Kathmandu University and delivered a public lecture titled, Moldova – Bridge between East and West.
The Moldovan diplomacy head told Nepali young people about the culture of Moldova, challenges and progress made by the country, in order to ensure a better future to its citizens.
In his speech, Mihai Popsoi stressed the importance of Moldova’s European integration path and unveiled the efforts made to speed up this process. He also highlighted the challenges faced on this road, as well as the way the country manages the international relations in a complex geopolitical context.
The foreign affairs minister said he was impressed by the openness of young people from Nepal and encouraged them to explore the academic opportunities provided by the universities from Moldova.
