
Moldova wins 21 medals at European Junior and U15 Weightlifting Championships
Chisinau, July 11. /MOLDPRES/ - Eight Moldovan weightlifters won 21 medals at the European Junior and U15 Championships, hosted by Chisinau Arena, the National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOS) announced today.
"Nicoleta Cojocaru has become European champion at Under 15, and six others became European vice-champions. Alina Popescu also climbed the podium. She won bronze in the snatch style in the 49 kg (U17) category," CNOS said.
