
Moldovan football team lost friendly match with Turkish team
Chisinau, 4 June /MOLDPRES/- Football team of the Republic of Moldova lost 0-2 the friendly match with the national team of Turkey.
It took place yesterday in the German city of Paderborn and was part of the series of matches that the Turkish team has in preparation for the opening match of the European Championship when it will play against the Italian national team.
Moldovan player Sergiu Platica was one step away from scoring a superb goal in the friendly with Turkey.
The Turks controlled the first half, and after the break, Burak Yilmaz and Cengiz Under scored the two goals in towards Dumitru Celeadnic. Coach Roberto Bordin used the following players: Celeadnic, Arhirii, Potîrniche, Posmac, Anton (Dros 56), V. Damașcan (Nicolaescu 67), Spătaru (Cleșcenco 87), Jardan, A. Antoniuc (Costrov 67), S. Platica, Rata.
The Moldovan team has scheduled for 6 June in Chisinau a match with the national team of Azerbaijan.
