
Moldovan national football team defeated by national team of Denmark
Chisinau, 10 October /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s national football team on 9 October was defeated by the team of Denmark with the score 4:0 on the home field, in a match in the qualifiers for the 2022 World Championship.
All goals were scored in the first half of the match, on the minutes 23, 34 (penalty), 39 and 44.
The match was held on the Zimbru stadium from Chisinau and was watched by 2,642 spectators.
After this game, the Moldovan football team has only one point and ranks sixth in the Group F, which is led by Denmark with 21 points. The Danish are followed by Scotland with 14 points, Israel, Austria (10 points each), Faroe Islands with 4 points.
The national team will play its next away match with Israel on 12 October. In next November, Moldova’s team will play its last two matches of these qualifiers, with Scotland on the home field on 12 November and an away match with Austria on 15 November.
