Moldovan national football team loses match with Scottland

Chisinau, 5 September /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s national football team on 4 September lost an away match with the national team of Scotland with the score 0:1, in the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.   

The only goal of the match was scored by Lyndon Dykes on the 14th minute of the game.  

The match, held on the Hampden Park stadium from Glasgow, was watched by 40,869 people and was umpired by Lawrence Visser (Belgium).

A Moldovan footballer, Artur Ionita, was shown a yellow on the 77th minute of the match.
