Best entrepreneurs awarded at Moldovan Business Gala 2025
Over 350 participants gathered last night at the most important event dedicated to the business environment in our country – Moldovan Business Gala 2025. During the event, excellence awards in business were given to the best entrepreneurs in the Republic of Moldova, who demonstrated performance in their fields over the past year and invested in development and quality.
The Moldovan Business Gala brought together top entrepreneurs, government officials, international partners, and civil society representatives in one place. The event, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), awarded dozens of companies registered in the Trademark of the Year and Quality Achievements Award contests.
CCI President Sergiu Harea said at the opening of the event that Moldova's entrepreneurs, through their products and services, make our country known in international markets.
Sergiu Harea said that 2024 was a difficult year, with many challenges and complicated situations, but despite it entrepreneurs succeeded in investing in quality and development.
"All the winners present this evening are living proof that innovation, investments, and perseverance are rewarded. You represent true role models and sources of inspiration for the entire business community in the Republic of Moldova. We are pleased with the increased interest of entrepreneurs and, as a result, the continuous growth in the number of participants in these two contests. At the same time, the dynamic process of European economic integration of the Republic of Moldova is an important factor encouraging companies to invest in quality and competitiveness. In this context, entrepreneurs deserve all appreciation for continuous performance and development, job creation, and increased competitiveness," concluded Sergiu Harea.
Attending the event, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Doina Nistor said that entrepreneurs are the real force of the Moldovan economy, and the event celebrates their remarkable performance. According to her, Moldovan entrepreneurs turn every challenge into an opportunity and every idea into a success story.
"Economic agents turn "it can't be done" into "Moldova can." With every entrepreneur who reinvests profits, with every company that expands into European markets, with every family business that becomes a national brand, we see concrete results. After two difficult years, Moldovan companies' investments increased by about 15 percent in 2024. In the current year, we continue on the same upward trend, with a 26.8 percent increase in local investments in the first quarter. Behind these figures are entrepreneurs like you, people who choose to reinvest profits, innovate, and expand beyond the country's borders. I assure you that the Government is your partner, the partner of the business. We aim for an economy that not only survives on cost but thrives through innovation, added value, and openness to global markets. We aim to transform Moldova into a competitive European economy because our future is in Europe," mentioned Doina Nistor.
The Moldovan Business Gala is dedicated to recognizing excellence in business and encourages the development of strong and responsible brands that actively contribute to the country's economic growth. With the awarded prizes, the CCI promotes quality, innovation, and sustainable practices in the entrepreneurial environment in the Republic of Moldova.
The contest aims to highlight companies that have successfully implemented high-performance quality management systems, while also promoting the best practices in the field.
Over the years, it has highlighted leaders from various economic sectors and reflected consumer trends in the local market.
