Prime Minister Dorin Recean noted that the electronics sector in the Republic of Moldova is continuously growing and becoming part of the regional electronic industry, and advancing on the European path will ensure access to a market of about 500 million consumers.
"We have various tools to stimulate growth in all fields, including the electronic industry. We have expanded activities in Moldova IT Park so that research and development in the electronic industry can be done in this environment. Industrial parks are also an opportunity for development," he said.
Recean remarked that the educational system has quickly adapted to meet the electronic industry's needs and produces qualified specialists. The contribution of external partners, who help the Republic of Moldova integrate into the global electronic industry circuit was also appreciated. "I am confident that together we can explore all the opportunities in this field," said the Prime Minister.
The forum is organized by the Association of Electronics Companies in Moldova (ACEM). This is the 4th edition of the event, where current transformations of companies in the industry and the formation of qualified personnel were discussed, innovative solutions developed by Moldovan companies were presented, and investments in the electronic sector were promoted.
