Israeli visas expiring between April 1 and May 31 to be automatically extended
Visas issued by the Israeli authorities that expire between April 1 and May 31, 2026 will be automatically extended for three months. Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Israel Alexandr Roitman made the statement today.
The official said that the instructions were issued by the Population and Immigration Authority. The measure applies to foreign citizens who are in Israel at the time the decision is made public.
It covers B1 – work visas, B2 – tourist visas, B4 – volunteer visas, A1 – temporary residence visas, A2 – student visas (with the exception of agricultural interns), A3 – clergy visas, A4 – accompanying person visas, A5 – temporary residence visas, entry visas and permits issued for family reunification and humanitarian purposes.
The extension is automatic and there is no need to appear at the offices of the Ministry of the Interior.
According to data from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, about 15,000 Moldovan citizens live in the State of Israel.
