Moldovan parliament speaker praises renovations at Republican Clinical Hospital
Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has conveyed a message following the inauguration of the consultative section of the Timofei Mosneaga Republican Clinical Hospital from Chisinau.
The speaker said that, after reconstruction, over 150,000 patients would annually benefit from consultations and investigations performed with the most advanced equipment.
He noted that the works cost 64.4 million lei, funds allocated by the Ministry of Health, the National Health Insurance Company, from the institution's budget and donations on behalf of foreign partners.
‘’We continue to work towards a modern and efficient medical system. Moldova can provide quality services,’’ opined Grosu.
The new renovated section covers an area of 2,533 square meters and is structured on four levels. Level I - offices for functional, imaging and ophthalmic investigations. Level II is an isolated unit for endoscopic investigations. Level III houses offices for surgical doctors and a modern dressing room. Level IV provides consultations in the field of internal medicine.
The new premises are equipped with modern equipment which allows for rapid and accurate diagnosis of illnesses, such as the echocardiograph, video-gastroscope, optical coherence tomograph, multidisciplinary ultrasound machine, digital spirometer and duplex vascular ultrasonography equipment.
