Violent killing in Chisinau apartment block: two women allegedly murdered by neighbor
Two women have been found dead in the apartment where they lived, in the Botanica district of Chisinau. According to the Police, they were allegedly attacked by their neighbor, a 37-year-old man who suffers from mental disorders. The suspect has been detained.
According to the Police, multiple wounds caused by a sharp object were discovered on the bodies of the victims.
Preliminary investigations show that the crime suspect is a 37-year-old man, a resident of the same building. He is believed to have gone to the door of the apartment where the victims lived, and when the door was opened, he allegedly attacked them.
Also, checks have established that the man was recently discharged from a psychiatric medical institution.
A criminal case has been opened in connection with this incident, and the suspect was detained for 72 hours.
Law-enforcement officers continue procedural and criminal investigation actions, in order to establish all circumstances of the case.
