Record number of registrations for Moldova – EU investment conference

The first Republic of Moldova – European Union Investment Conference, which will be held on Thursday, 4 June, in Chișinău, is an event that confirms the growing interest in the Republic of Moldova and in the opportunities our country offers. The message was delivered by Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu at the beginning of today’s Government meeting.

“This forum will be an important step for promoting the country and for the economic development of the Republic of Moldova,” noted Munteanu.

The official stated that the event has reached a record number of registrations.

“We have registered a record number of participants. I encourage all colleagues to follow this event. I cannot give too many details now, but I can say that tomorrow we will have several announcements about investment and financial projects. We will host leaders of major companies from Europe. It is an event that confirms the growing interest in the Republic of Moldova and in the opportunities available here. We have talked about investments and, finally, we can materialize them,” said Munteanu.

The Conference, organized on 4 June in Chișinău, will be opened by President Maia Sandu, European Commissioner Marta Kos, and Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu. The event aims to become a platform for analyzing strategic investment opportunities between the European Union and the Republic of Moldova.

The conference will bring together companies, decision-makers, representatives of the European Commission and financial institutions for high-level discussions, roundtables, sectoral pitching sessions, and B2B meetings.

The conference is organized by the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the European Commission, with the support of the Investment Agency and the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, and marks one year since the launch of the Growth Plan for the Republic of Moldova.
