Representatives of civil society organizations have expressed their willingness to actively participate in drafting the concept for the local public administration reform and to widely inform citizens across the country about its benefits. Discussions on this topic took place at the Government.

"I see in civil society the expertise necessary for the success of the reform, and I am sure that together we will manage to create the best concept. We want this reform to be a national project, not just a Government project," said Secretary General of Government Alexei Buzu.

The parties discussed the involvement of civil society representatives at all stages of preparing the reform and emphasized the importance of an open and participatory process. In this regard, they highlighted the importance of properly informing citizens and ensuring a transparent framework in which relevant stakeholders will contribute ideas and solutions, so that the reform becomes not just a theoretical plan, but a real, applicable and effective project.
