Single reporting platform on implementation of public policies and reforms set by Government
E-Monitoring Information System will be set up in Moldova – a single platform through which all public institutions will plan, report and track in real time the implementation of public policies and reforms. The regulation in this regard was approved today by the Government.
Government Secretary General Alexei Buzu said that the new platform will allow citizens and entrepreneurs to benefit from facilitated access to clear information about what the Government is doing, what changes have been initiated, and what resources are available to ensure the acceleration of the transformation and development of our country.
“We are advancing the country’s reforms, programs, and development projects. We want greater efficiency, better coordination, and as much transparency as possible for our citizens and entrepreneurs. That is why today we are approving a regulation on the e-Monitoring information system, a single platform through which all public institutions will plan, report, and track in real time the implementation of this Government’s public policies and reforms. This means we will better coordinate our activities, we will have less bureaucracy and decisions based on up-to-date data and, first and foremost, we will put our citizens’ interests at the forefront. And very importantly, this platform will allow us to offer citizens and entrepreneurs access to clear information about what the Government is doing, what changes are being made, and what resources we are providing to accelerate the transformation and development of our country,” said Buzu at the Government meeting.
According to the project approved by the government, the State Chancellery, the ministries and other central administrative authorities, as well as the organizational structures within their remit, will ensure the use of the information resource created by the e-Monitoring Information System in the process of planning, monitoring, and reporting on the implementation of public policy documents, on the harmonization of European Union legislation, and on the implementation of the Government’s commitments.
E-Monitoring Information System's implementation will make an essential contribution to modernizing planning, monitoring, and reporting processes at government level, ensuring more efficient, transparent, and data-driven governance, in line with the objectives of the digital transformation of public administration, as stipulated in the initiative’s explanatory note.
