Temporary border alert in Moldova: flying object detected by radar turns out to be hot air balloon
A flying object detected by radar has turned out to be a hot air balloon. The information was confirmed by the Defense's Ministry Air Operations Service.
The Border Police of Moldova today afternoon was informed by Ukrainian authorities about a flying object that flew over the northern area of Moldova.
At 16:10, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that the object had disappeared from radar in the Bratuseni locality region.
Authorities emphasize that there were no risks to citizens and that the situation was constantly monitored.
The Border Police stays in contact with national institutions and international partners, ensuring the surveillance and security of the border and the population.
