The Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization announced today that the state guarantee regarding the maintenance of the fiscal regime applicable to the residents of Moldova IT Park will remain valid until 2035. The institution notes that the measure provides continuity, stability and predictability to the business environment in the technology sector.
According to Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Eugeniu Osmochescu, maintaining a favorable tax regime and a stable regulatory framework represents a firm commitment by the authorities to support IT parks, considered engines of innovation and national economic development.
Currently, 'Moldova IT Park' has 2,665 registered residents, of which 343 are foreign capital companies from 44 countries.
'Moldova IT Park', launched in 2018, operates under a unique tax regime of 7% of operational revenue, a model that has contributed to attracting investments and developing the IT industry. In recent years, the technology sector has become one of the most dynamic in Moldova's economy, generating jobs and economic growth.
