IGP: Drone found in Drochia district - Gerbera model, without explosive load
The drone found yesterday in Drochia district is a Gerbera model and does not carry any explosive payload. The clarification was made by the General Police Inspectorate (IGP) following the examination of the aircraft.
Immediately after the drone was identified, police officers secured the area.
“Following the checks carried out by experts from the Police’s Technical-Explosive Section, it was established that the drone is a Gerbera model, without explosive payload. We once again remind citizens that upon finding such an object, they should not approach it and must immediately notify the authorities by calling 112,” the IGP said.
A drone was found yesterday on the outskirts of Sofia village in Drochia district, in the direction of Lazo locality. The case is being documented, and the circumstances are to be established by the relevant authorities.
