Paris – Chisinau flight delayed over technical malfunction
The Paris – Chisinau flight has recorded a significant delay over a technical malfunction at the aircraft, reported the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), based on data provided by the airline.
According to CAA, the airline identified a reserve aircraft, and passengers’ boarding is set to begin shortly.
The Authority announced it would verify whether the operator complied with legal obligations regarding passengers’ assistance, in accordance with consumers’ protection regulations in air transport.
“We reiterate that passengers have the right to information and support in such situations, and the observance of these obligations is monitored with priority,” stated the Authority.
Several passengers on the Paris – Chisinau flight wrote on social media that their flight had been postponed and that, for several hours, the operating company provided them no explanation.
According to the flight schedule of the Chișinău International Airport, the plane was supposed to land in Chisinau on Jul 4 at 13:20.
