Head of state invites Moldovan Diaspora from Italy to direct meetings in five Italian cities

President Maia Sandu will have a string of meetings with Moldovan citizens residing in Italy on July 11-13. The head of state has made statement to this effect through a post published on social media. In the post, the Moldovan president expressed wish to discuss directly with Diaspora members the situation in the country and subjects of interest for Moldovan communities on the peninsula.

"Dear citizens residing in Italy, I invite you to meet and discuss the situation in Moldova, as well as subjects of interest for Moldovans in Italy," wrote Maia Sandu.

The meetings are scheduled as follows:

• Vicenza, July 12, 5:00 PM:

• Treviso, July 13, 10:00:

• Mestre Venice, July 13, 14:00:
