A contingent of National Army soldiers during January 23-Februart 14 takes part, in a multinational exercise titled, KFOR 36 Mission Rehearsal Exercise (MRE), held at the training area in Hohenfels, Germany.
According to the Defense Ministry, the purpose of the exercise is to prepare the military contingents of the participating states for their subsequent deployment to the international peacekeeping mission in Kosovo.
During the training, the soldiers carry out theoretical and practical instruction activities on patrolling, guarding strategic objects, crowd control, providing first aid and other related tasks.
National Army soldiers have been taking part in MRE exercises since 2012, activities that contribute to strengthening interoperability within international peacekeeping missions.
