SIS director: MP arrived in Transnistria with diplomatic plates car

Director of the Intelligence and Security Service (SIS) Alexandru Musteata announced today that MP Alexandr Nesterovschi, recently convicted by the courts arrived on the left bank of the Dniester river with a car bearing diplomatic plates of the Russian Embassy.

A day before the sentencing, Nesterovschi went to the Russian Embassy in Chișinău, from where he was taken out and transported to Transnistria with a car with diplomatic plates.

Deputy Alexandr Nesterovschi was sentenced on 19 March to 12 years in prison for passive bribery, preparing and accepting the financing of a political party from an organized criminal group.
