Moldova's parliament adopts 35 normative acts in last March

The MPs voted 5 normative acts, including 33 laws and two resolutions at four plenary meetings held in last March.

Among the most important decisions adopted in March, there are: the indexation of pensions by 10 per cent, granting an assistance of 30,000 lei to World War II veterans, individual regulation of housing temperature for consumers connected to the centralized heating system, SMS alerts in case of emergencies, detachment of Moldovan officials to the European Commission to gain experience in the process of EU accession and simultaneous providing of disability allowance and survivor's pension to children and persons with disabilities from childhood.

The parliament also ratified the Agreement with the EU on participation in the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Program (2021 – 2027), which will support the promotion of human rights and gender equality, citizens’ involvement in the EU's democratic life and combating violence, including gender-based violence.

At the same time, in March, there were 44 meetings of parliamentary committees, during which 56 reports, 12 co-reports, and 49 opinions were approved.
