Number of schools using electronic gradebooks increase by 21 per cent in Moldova in 2025

The number of schools using the electronic gradebook has increased by 21 per cent this year compared to 2024, reaching 733 institutions. Education and Research Minister Dan Perciun made public data to this effect, while unveiling today the main achievements of the ministry for the ending year.

At the same time, Minister Dan Perciun said that the number of parents using the electronic gradebook had also increased by 60 per cent, reaching 120,000 people.

"We have growth in the area of digitalization, with schools using the electronic gradebook being a key indicator. The figure is 21 per cent higher than in 2024. Equally important is the number of parents using this tool, which has increased by 60 per cent compared to 2024," said the minister of education.

The system includes data on the daily tracking of pupils’ achievement and attendance (evaluations/grades, comments, absences), as well as on topics covered in classes, homework and connection links for distance lessons, etc.

The data is accessible to students, teachers and parents, who will have real-time access to information about their children's school performances.

Institutions that have not yet implemented the electronic gradebook can request its integration for the next academic year through an official request to the Education and Research Ministry (MEC). At the same time, institutions that have been using this system for more than one year have the option to completely forego the traditional gradebook, according to official instructions.
