Three students of Moldova receive honourable mentions at European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad

The national Olympiad team of Moldova has received three honourable mentions at the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad, held in France.

The distinctions were awarded to two students of the Orizont Theoretical Lyceum from Durlesti, Chisinau municipality, as well as to a student of the Mihai Eminescu Theoretical Lyceum from Drochia.

The competition took place from April 9-15, 2026, in Bordeaux, France, and brought together 260 participants from 67 countries. Moldova was represented at the contest by a team of four students and two teachers.
