Reforms, Moldova's Economic Growth Plan discussed in Brussels
Progress made in implementing reforms, the status of EU accession negotiations, and the priorities included in Moldova’s Economic Growth Plan have been discussed by Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov, and a representative of the General Secretariat of the EU Council, Maryem Van den Heuvel, in Brussels.
“I thanked the Council’s Secretariat for the support provided in advancing key decisions for Moldova in the Council, such as the adoption of the Growth Plan for Moldova and the organization of the Summit,” noted Gherasimov.
The EU-Moldova Summit, due to be held in Chisinau on July 4, represents a crucial opportunity to underline the strategic importance of Moldova’s future within the EU and the power of cooperation at a crucial moment in the democratic development and European trajectory of the country, notes the Council of the European Union.
