
Citizens of Moldova who worked in Swiss Confederation to enjoy pensions
Citizens of Moldova who have worked in the Swiss Confederation will be able to benefit from a pension from this state upon reaching retirement age. At the same time, during their period of employment, individuals will be provided with income in the form of social benefits. The government approved the draft for the ratification of the Agreement between Moldova and the Swiss Confederation in the field of social security.
The document includes the provision of old-age pensions, disability pensions caused by a general condition, disability pensions and allowances caused by a work accident or an occupational disease, as well as survivor pensions.
The agreement will enter into force after ratification in parliament and the completion of all necessary internal procedures to this end.
